Jennifer Norwood

Jennifer has been with Dr. Cox for 10 years as his scheduling coordinator. She currently resides in Summerville with her husband, Josh, son Brody, and step daughter Chloe. She enjoys the beach and is a huge Tarheel fan. Go Heels! Our patients feel they are coming to visit a friend thanks to Jennifer’s infectious smile and genuine personality.

Shannon Golder

Shannon has been a part of Dr. Cox’s front office team since 2001. She loves working with all of his patients and watching their confidence grow. She is a native of Wilmington, DE but relocated to the Charleston area in 1999 with her husband Charlie. She is the proud mother of her 2 daughters, Kayla and Brynnlee. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching football and basketball, and going shopping. We know that you will recognize her the next time you come into our office, as she is that smiling face that is ready to welcome you into our orthodontic family.

Jennifer Tropea

Jennifer is the New Patient Coordinator for our office. She joined the team in April 2009 and is here to happily schedule your new patient consult, and answer any questions you may have before you come to the office. She has been in the dental field for 7 years and loves it! Jennifer married the love of her life, Matthew, in April 2010. Rebecca McBee

Rebecca was born and raised in the Charleston area and has been with Dr. Cox’s practice since April of 2009. She manages the patient charts and filing system, translates for our Spanish speaking patients, and fills in at the front desk whenever needed. She is an all-around assistant to everyone in the office-working behind the scenes to help the office run smoothly. When not at work you can find Rebecca on the ballroom dance floor, visiting with her family, and playing outside with her puppy Hank.

Vicki Bumgardner

Vicki is the Financial Coordinator for our office. With 20 years dental/orthodontic experience, she joined Dr. Cox’s team in 2005. In her free time, Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband Paul & 3 children, Shane, Trixie, & Caitlin. Stop by her office & see pictures of her first grandbaby, Thomas!

Cindy Koile-Penn

Cindy has been with Dr. Cox for over 10 years as the Treatment Coordinator and has over 13 years of orthodontic experience. She came to Charleston from Springfield, MO in 1999. When she isn’t welcoming new patients into the practice, she remains busy with her 2 teenage boys and is very active in the high school booster clubs. Cindy’s understanding nature along with her high level of professionalism & knowledge allows her to extend great customer service to all of our patients.

Jessie Smith

Jessie has been with Dr. Cox’s team for a little over 2 years. In our office, Jessie does all the diagnostic records. She loves her job & meeting all of the new patients. Jessie was born & raised here in Charleston and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. When she is not working she loves to spend time with her son, Seth.

Mendi Driggers

Mendi has been Dr Cox’s Orthodontic Assistant for 12 years. She received her dental assisting degree from Trident Technical College in 1997. When she is not working with patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Philip, 3 year old son, Peyton, and her newborn daughter, Hallie. She would love the opportunity to have you become a part of our patient family.

Angie Taylor

Angie has been with Dr. Cox’s team for 9 years. She has received her x-ray certification and is also certified with the S.C.D.A as an orthodontic assistant. She and her husband Ron have 3 beautiful children, Leland, Jennifer, and Ronnie. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Kim Hoffman

Kim is the clinical director for Dr. Cox. Kim has been in the dental field for eight years. The last 5 ½ have been with Dr. Cox’s team. When she isn’t with her patient family, she loves spending time with her husband Lane and their newborn daughter Carley Lane, who was born in March 2010. Kim looks forward to many more years to come making patients smile.

Lisa Dence

Lisa has been a part of Dr. Cox’s team for the past 3 years as an assistant. She resides in Charleston with her husband, Travis, her dog, Shelby, and her cat, Hayden. When she isn’t working with patients, she spends much of her time playing golf, fishing & enjoying the outdoors. Lisa’s experience combined with her high energy level definitely keeps you smiling!

Myranda Pittman

Myranda is one of the newest additions to Dr. Cox’s team, but she has over 6 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in orthodontics. When she isn’t working on her superstar patients, she enjoys going to the beach, being on the boat, hunting, fishing, shopping, and dining downtown Charleston. Myranda currently resides in North Charleston and is excited everyday to be a part of your smile team.

Molly Austin

Molly was born and raised in Charleston. She has been an orthodontic lab technician for over 30 years. She has been married for 23 years to her husband Don, and has two children, Mary and Tom. Molly enjoys relaxing with family on weekends at her childhood home in the country. She also enjoys bird watching, gardening and caring for a menagerie of pets, including a cat, dogs, and box turtles.
