Jennifer Norwood

Jennifer has been with Palmetto Orthodontics for 12 years and is our Public Relations Coordinator/Scheduling Coordinator. She currently resides in Summerville with her husband, Josh, son Brody, and step daughter Chloe. She enjoys the beach and is a huge Tarheel fan. Go Heels! Our patients feel they are coming to visit a friend thanks to Jennifer's infectious smile and genuine personality.

Sarah Outland

Sarah has been with Palmetto Orthondontics since, February 2011. Sarah resides in Goose Creek with her husband,Bobby and their Boykin Spaniels: Cooper,Charley,and Carlos. When not at work she stays busy spending time with friends and family, boating, and enjoying the outdoors. We know that you will recognize her the next time you come into our office, as she is that smiling face that is ready to welcome you into our orthodontic family.

Jennifer Tropea

Jennifer is the New Patient Coordinator for our office. She joined the team in April 2009 and is here to happily schedule your new patient consult, and answer any questions you may have before you come to the office. She has been in the dental field for 10 years and loves it! She loves to spend time with her husband Matthew, family, and friends at the beach or out on the boat. Vicki Bumgardner

Vicki is the Financial Coordinator for our office. With 20 years dental/orthodontic experience, she joined Dr. Cox’s team in 2005. In her free time, Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband Paul & 3 children, Shane, Trixie, & Caitlin. Stop by her office & see pictures of her grandchildren, Thomas and Lila!

Rebecca Luff

Rebecca has been with Dr. Cox's practice since May of 2009. She helps with our patient's insurance and answers billing and payment questions. Rebecca is also the office translator for our Spanish speaking patients. When not at work you can find Rebecca spending time with her family (six nieces and nephews!), relaxing at home with her husband Grayson, and enjoying her beautiful baby girl, Willa!

Molly Austin

Molly was born and raised in Charleston County. She has been an orthodontic lab technician for over 30 years. She has been married for 24 years to her husband Don, and has two children, Mary and Tom. Molly enjoys relaxing with family on weekends at her childhood home in the country. She also enjoys bird watching, gardening and caring for a menagerie of pets, including a cat, dogs, and box turtles.

Cindy Koile-Penn

Cindy has been with Dr. Cox for over 12 years as the Treatment Coordinator and has over 15 years of orthodontic experience. She came to Charleston from Springfield, MO in 1999. When she isn't welcoming new patients into the practice, she remains busy with her 2 teenage boys and is very active in the high school booster clubs. Cindy's understanding nature along with her high level of professionalism & knowledge allows her to extend great customer service to all of our patients.

Jessie Smith

Jessie has been with Dr. Cox's team for a little over 4 years. In our office, Jessie does all the diagnostic records. She loves her job & meeting all of the new patients. Jessie was born & raised here in Charleston and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. When she is not working she loves to spend time with her son, Seth.

Cheri Wilson

Cheri has been with Palmetto Orthodontics for the past 13 years. She is a clinical assistant and has over 16 years of orthodontic experience. She currently resides in Summerville, South Carolina. When she isn’t working with patients, she remains busy with her kids-Savannah, Chase, & Dawson. Cheri’s terrific clinical skills combined with her loving & caring personality make her a star on our team!

Myranda Pittman

Myranda is the clinical director of our office. She has been with Dr. Cox’s team since 2009, but she has over 9 years of clinical experience, including 5 years in orthodontia. When she isn’t working on her superstar patients, she enjoys going to the beach, being on the boat, hunting, fishing, shopping, and dining downtown Charleston. Myranda currently resides in North Charleston and is excited everyday to be a part of your smile team.

Gerda Vohs

Gerda has been an orthodontic assistant with Dr. Cox for 3 years and has 20 years of orthodontic experience. She loves working in her yard, boating, and swimming in her free time. She also has a 21 year old son attending college at UT-Knoxville. Gerda says, "I could spend the rest of my life making beautiful smiles!"

Allie Folden

Allie has been with Dr.Cox's team since March of 2011. She has had 5 years clinical experience, 4 of which have been in orthodontics. When she isn't working on all those beautiful smiles she likes to be outside on the boat, laying out, fishing and hanging out with her friends and family. She has lived in Summerville her whole life and loves that she is part of making your smile something to be proud of!

Katrina Gilliam

Katrina has been with Palmetto Orthodontics for 4 years. She is a clinical assistant with 6 years of orthodontic experience. She currently resides in North Charleston, SC. When she is not working on patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband Sean and two beautiful girls Jaelynn and Ava.

Lisa Dence

Lisa is one of our orthdontic assistants. She has been with Dr.Cox's practice for over 4 years. What she enjoys most about her job, is getting to meet new patients. In her spare time she enjoys playing golf, fishing, and photography. She has a wonderful husband, Travis and a beautiful baby girl, Taylor.

Melissa Barnes

Melissa joined the Palmetto Orthodontics team in June of 2011. She is one of our orthodontic assistants. She has over 10 years of dental experience, including 6 years in orthodontics. She was born and raised in the Lowcountry and currently resides in Moncks Corner with her wonderful family. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Jessica Locke

Jessica has been with Dr.Cox's practice since July of 2011. She came to Charleston from New Jersey, and has over 5 years of dental experience. As the insurance coordinator, she will be more than happy to answer any of your insurance or financial questions. Jessica resides in West Ashley and when she's not working , she loves to spend time at the beach, traveling, or being around her friends and family.

Chelsea Ewers

Chelsea has been with Palmetto Orthodontics since September 2011. She enjoys being on the lake, boating, playing with her puppy Sophie, and shopping. Chelsea is currently attending the Trident Technical College Dental Hygiene Program.
